I tried to send a picture, but it didnt work out. I guess only my thoughts are allowed to escape. I sure do miss the internet at home.

Well it has been a long time. I turned off the internet at home and I am tring to blog from my phone wish me luck with this trial!

Round Robin 2 finished

I finally finished Carla's round Robin.  Again 4 months late. I did the outer ribbon border.  She was very happy with it.

June went and let me go through her stash for the pink and green ribbon fabric, because I didn't have the right shade.

Here is a picture of two of my dear friends.  They have helped my through out all my good and hard times.  I don't think of it as bad times, because I learn from every lesson in life good and hard.

June is on the left and Elaine is on the right.

Now if only I can get a picture of Suzanna my other friend who is an angel.  I am thinking maybe bubbles?

Maybe it is time to work on that UFO list on the left.  I have worked on other things instead.  They are also UFO's.

Accuquilt Baby Go! Give-Away!!

I haven't posted in a long time.  Job hunting and getting life on track.  So when I came upon this I knew I would post about it.

Wish me luck on the job front.  One interview and I was told to expect a call for the second.  Pray for me.

She commented that I need to post more often.  Now that I have reduced my swapping to almost nothing, maybe I will have time.

On the job front.

Well school is done,  I have passed all my "Microsoft Office" class with 2 "B's" and 10+ "A's".  My 10-key is at 200+ but typing is at 37wpm.  I have applied for 2 jobs at the same company which my case worker has suggested.  She is going to try and push some to get me in there.  I have 99% of the qualifications. I know that I would be able to pick up the few that I don't know.

This week I have been sewing for our quilting guilds swap met.  So far I have finished 32 coasters and 35 little punch card purses.  They are quick and hopefully they will sell.  

All I ask is for everyone to pray for me so that I can get hired real quickly. I am definitely going to keep up the good spirits because nothing helps when you get depressed.  

My flowers by the way are blooming! daffodils and crocus and hyacinths. I have a few pink and my favorite the little grape ones.  They are super and cheery.

I think I will go and take a walk while the sun is out and take some pictures to post.

Updates

Well this Thursday will be the last day of school. I realize my typing is poor because, I read real fast and I will type what I see when I look ahead. I need to slow down.

I am meeting my goal and I try not to look when I type. 

I am up to 38-45 if there isn't any numbers or symbols. 30-33 if there is,  I think that is pretty good.

Now for some fun stuff.  Here is a picture my youngest took of herself a couple of years ago and I did a "Andy Warhol" thing to them. They are going in to a photo album called "Girls on Film". ( I love Duran Duran)
