Spring

Here are some of the flowers I rediscovered while mowing my lawn Wednesday. The tulips were opened, but because it was raining they closed up. They have the most vibrant yellow and black centers. My favorite is the bleeding heart plant in the back. They keep returning each year. They came with the house.

A good day

Today was a very good day. I woke up, got dressed and went and mowed my front and back yard. It took me only 1 and 1/2 hours to do it all. It felt real good! I will post pictures of things I saw. My flowers and of a little frog. Unfortunately the frog got away before I could take a picture, but the flowers are still there.
I really like seeing pictures on other peoples blogs so I will post one of Inspector 12 aka HRH MaryJane.

Flinging

No pictures today. Saturday I was hit with a sunami called Suzanna. My girlfriend was my go to it person. She kept me on track while instructing me on what to do to organize my house. We concentrated on my front room. IT IS AWESOME! 90% done. More to follow.

This quilt I started over 10 years ago. I used my DSM to quilt some of the center of the quilt. It sat for over 8 years before I finished it on my girlfriens longarm. It took me only one afternoon to finish it. I sewed the binding on with my machine not by hand. It would still be another 10 years before I would get it done by hand. Hope you enjoy the quilt. I do!
